  1. XTC have been with me since , when Towers of London came out and I got Black Sea for Christmas and went to see them in Sheffield for the LP tour, just amazing and so so close to the studio sound, Andy Partridge for me is the best ever song and music writing of this generation.

  6. Jun 05,  · I've got the original UK Vinyl version of "White Music" (the label is the old blue and white with Virgin written in double). The album could not be described as muddy nor is it particularly bright. Sounds great actually (just had a quick listen). The only XTC I have on CD is the Fossils collection. All other albums are on UK vinyl.

  9. Apr 10,  · I have the Japan mini-lp, original Virgin/Geffen, and original UK vinyl. Yes, the remaster is as bad as jsayers described. The Virgin/Geffen sounds great, probably good as it will ever sound on cd. One problem I find a little annoying is they put the bonus tracks in the middle of the disc. This affects the flow of the album from what Im used to.
